1. Overview

This is a special, time-limited Program created to celebrate the re-opening of Kongregate to new games in 2026! It allows developers to earn money from their game at a special introductory revenue share percentage rate of 70%!

OPT-IN IS NOT REQUIRED. Developers are opted into this Program by default when their eligible Game is approved for publication on Kongregate within the applicable time period.

This Program is subject to the Revenue Share Program General Terms in addition to the specific terms detailed below.

2. Eligibility Requirements

To participate, your Game must:

be approved for publication by Kongregate after April 6th, 2026 and before the applicable time period ends
be created by a registered, approved developer
comply with:
- Kongregate's Content Standards
not interfere with ad delivery, measurement, or reporting

There is no requirement to opt-in.

3. Revenue Share

Developers will receive:

70% of Net Revenue

The applicable percentage will be shown in the Developer Portal on the eligible Game's dashboard.

"Net Revenue" as defined in the General Terms and the Game License & Upload Agreement.

4. Eligible Revenue

Revenue sources include:

banner ads
interstitial ads
pre-roll ads
other ad formats delivered through Kongregate systems as applicable
virtual goods revenue (only applies if API integrated)

5. Program-Specific Deductions

Net Revenue for advertising includes deductions such as:

ad network revenue shares
mediation platform fees
invalid traffic or fraud adjustments
advertiser non-payment or clawbacks
agency or partner fees

6. Platform Control

Kongregate controls:

ad networks and partners
ad formats and placements
mediation and optimization

7. Restrictions

developers may not integrate unauthorized ad providers
manipulation of ad impressions, clicks, or rewards is prohibited by any means

8. Applicable Time Period

This is a time-limited Revenue Share Program.

9. Opting into Revenue Share Programs

While not required for this special Program, a developer would typically opt-in or out of Revenue Share Programs through the Developer Portal in their Kongregate account, and each individual game dashboard includes a link - Royalty Revenue Share - which allows a developer to opt their game in or out of current Revenue Share Programs.
