VIOLATION | What happens if my game violates Kongregate’s Content Standards? – Developer Portal - Support

By uploading a game you are agreeing to the entire Game License & Upload Agreement, which includes in section 4 m) an obligation to ensure the game is compliant at all times with the latest Content Standards.

If a Game or Game Materials are found to violate the Content Standards, Kongregate may take action in accordance with the Agreement, as described in the Developer Moderation & Enforcement Policy.

Depending on the nature and severity of the issue, actions may include:

• notifying the developer and requesting that the issue be corrected
• temporarily restricting access to the Game
• removing or disabling the Game from the Kongregate Platform
• suspending or terminating the developer’s access to platform services in serious or repeated cases

Kongregate may also take action where a Game violates applicable law, infringes intellectual property rights, or creates safety or security concerns for the platform or its users.

Developers are encouraged to review the Content Standards and Developer Moderation & Enforcement Policy to understand how compliance is evaluated and how enforcement decisions may be applied.
