Enforcement Actions

No enforcement action occurs at this stage.
Warning
If a policy issue is confirmed, Kongregate may issue a formal warning.

Feature Restrictions
In some cases, Kongregate may temporarily restrict platform features, such as:
monetization features
marketplace access

Game Removal
A game may be removed from the platform if:
violations are not corrected in a reasonable time period
the violation presents significant risk
legal or security concerns require immediate action
Kongregate will attempt to notify the developer before removal whenever practical.
Developer Account Suspension
In severe cases, Kongregate may suspend a developer account.
This may occur in cases such as:

Suspensions may be temporary or permanent depending on the situation.
Emergency Enforcement
In situations involving security risks, legal obligations, or platform integrity, Kongregate may take immediate action without prior notice.

Kongregate will notify the developer as soon as reasonably possible after such actions are taken.
Developer Cooperation
Developers are expected to cooperate with Kongregate during investigations.

Failure to cooperate may result in escalation of enforcement actions.
Appeals Process
Developers who believe an enforcement action was taken in error may submit an appeal in writing to developers@kongregate.com
