If you believe your game (or any of your intellectual property) has been uploaded to the Kongregate Platform without your permission, you can submit a formal infringement notice to request its removal.
Kongregate reviews and responds to valid notices in accordance with applicable law and the Game License & Upload Agreement, as well as the Content Standards and Developer Moderation & Enforcement Policy.
How do I report unauthorized use of my game?
You should report an intellectual property infringement to Kongregate using the process described here. This requires submitting a DMCA takedown notice (or equivalent intellectual property complaint).
To be processed, your notice must:
• be submitted by the rights holder or an authorized agent
• clearly identify the original work you own
• identify the allegedly infringing material on the Kongregate Platform (including URL)
• include required legal statements and a signature under penalty of perjury
Incomplete notices may not be processed.
Can I be liable for submitting a false claim?
Yes. Submitting a notice that contains misrepresentations may expose you to liability, including damages and legal fees, under applicable law.
You should only submit a notice if you have a good faith belief that your rights are being infringed.
Where do I submit my notice?
Notices should be submitted via the online link that you can find on this page: How to submit a DMCA / Infringement Notice to Kongregate
